🧌 The story of the happily ugly one

Nobody is going to call him handsome, and he could not care less. His two eyes bulge in different directions, one higher than the other, both a watery amber that never quite settles on the same thing. A great droopy nose hangs down the middle of his face, brown at the tip.

His ears flop out on either side like a pair of soft wings, and when he grins you get two lonely buck teeth and a lot of gum. His skin is blotchy and warty, patched with red, the face of a goblin who lives under a bridge and is perfectly happy there.

He is the good kind of ugly, the sort you end up rather fond of. Keep him around and he will make you laugh on the grim days.
