🎃 The story of the pumpkin in a very bad mood

Some pumpkins are content to sit on a step and grin all night. This one clearly wanted to be left alone. Its amber skin glows as though it is lit from somewhere inside, and a heavy brow folds down low over two round, staring eyes.

A green leaf curls up where the stem should be, and two dark vines twist off the sides like a pair of little horns. The mouth pulls into a proper grumpy grimace, one small fang showing, as if you just woke it from a very good nap.

It is the Halloween guest who complains about the sweets and then secretly loves all the fuss. Made by hand for the season, glossy and glowering and oddly loveable.
