Red Mushroom Monster

🍄 The story of the mushroom that grew too many eyes

Something went wrong in the damp and this is what came up. A glossy red cap swells over the top, and scattered across it are eyes that do not match, one icy blue, one pale, a couple more peering off in different directions as if the cap cannot decide where to look.

Underneath, the ribbed gills fold down into a wide open mouth ringed in pink, and a set of big blunt molars sits there where fangs really ought to be. The stalk below is pale tan, veined and glossy, a proper fungal stem.

It is grown onto a Clipper with a chrome cap poking through the top.

Handmade, faintly poisonous looking, and all the better for it. 🍄
