🎨 The story of the girl who drew her own flower
Dokhtar means girl in Farsi, and this one wears her face like a painting that refused to sit still. Her skin is warm cream, her cheeks flushed a soft orange, and her mouth is painted a bold poppy red.
One brown eye watches you from under a single fine brow. The other half of her face dissolves into black outlines and pools of blue, the way a portrait looks when the artist trusts you to fill in the rest yourself.
In her hand is a fat purple pencil, and out of it grows a scribbled orange flower on a bending green stem, as if she sketched the bloom into being a moment ago. Yellow dots drift around her head like small quiet applause.
A soft spoken girl with a very loud imagination.
